As the Wholesale Product Partner, the Schleswig-Holstein Co-op eG will deliver several thousand tons of meat, vegetables, fruit, bread and other products every day to the 183 catering establishments, the kiosks and the restaurants of the different nations. Among other foodstuffs, 100,000 fresh rolls, 60,000 eggs and 60,000 litres of beer will be required for the hungry and thirsty visitors.

Ten percent of the food comes from controlled, ecological cultivation. Trucks will bring the products to Hanover overnight, from warehouses throughout Germany. The assortment consists of 5,000 items. Other than food, non-food items, such as environmentally-friendly cleaning materials, are also included. Fruit and vegetables will be delivered in returnable crates in order to avoid packaging waste.
