Scientists predict that in future, wars will be waged over water. Water is the source of life and is a rarity in many parts of the globe. The Goethe Institute chose water as a topic and has launched a worldwide competition entitled "Wasserwelten" (Water Worlds) for children learning the German language. From thousands of entries, some 20 musical compositions, films, documentaries and models won prizes. At the "Forum Water Worlds," the pavilion of the Goethe Institute, these students present their "water" work. The swimmer and Olympic medalist Franziska van Almsick is a patron.

In order to reach the Forum, visitors must balance their way through a field of stepping-stones. Water flows down the glass walls, a field of drops generates sounds and smells. There are various play stations on the subject of "water." Success or failure in solving a task causes the water to either flow or dry up. Do you know on which ocean Namibia is located?
